Children's Miracle Network Hospitals is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals. Through numerous special events and grassroots fundraisers conducted year-round, a coalition of media partners and corporate volunteers work together to ensure healthy kids in our state.

Charitable Funds

  • Palliative Care - This fund supports the Division of Pediatric Palliative Care, which focuses on providing the best possible quality of life for patients and their families. Palliative care is both a philosophy and an organized treatment option for children with life-threatening conditions that follows patients and families throughout curative treatment.
  • Activity Rooms - The Child Life staff at Batson Hospital plays a crucial role in a child's medical journey by helping patients deal with the psycho-social aspect of being hospitalized. One way they do this is through the activity rooms in the hospital. This fund helps maintain the constant supply of toys, games, and arts and crafts necessary to ensure kids can still be kids, even though the are sick.
  • Jessica Shelby Ferris Art Therapy Endowment - In 1999, at the age of 19, Shelby passed away after battling chronic illnesses. Art therapy is the modality that joy back to Shelby's life. This fund was established by her parents who understood the importance of art in treating sick children. It supports the Art Therapy program at Batson Hospital, which is available to patients ages 4 to 18 years old.
