Per the recommendations of an internal Influenza Task Force at the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children, community group visits are not permitted in Batson Hospital until further notice.
Thank you for your understanding during this unusual flu season. As always, our primary concern is for the health and safety of the children. The decision to restrict visitation is a pro-active precautionary measure to prevent further spreading of the virus.
You can still bring toy donations for the Santa Bag program.
Donations should be brought to the main lobby Admissions Desk at Batson Hospital, 2500 North State Street in Jackson. Please review the 2009 Holiday Wish List and complete the accompanying form to bring with your donation.
Some important things to remember:
- Due to infection control policies, we cannot accept used toys or stuffed animals.
- Toys should be unwrapped.
- Donations may be delivered between 8:30 and 3:30 Monday through Friday.
- The last day for toy delivery is Friday, December 18.
